CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
*** CHECK-IN TIME IS 4:00 PM and CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10:00 AM ***
CHECK-IN: The time you may check in to your villa is generally not before 4:00 PM. If your villa is not occupied the day you arrive, you can pre-arrange for an early check-in with us in advance. If other guests are departing your villa that same day, you may not physically check into your villa until 4 p.m. or later. If you are arriving early, it may be possible for you to have your escort show you to your villa early so you may drop off your luggage, but we're sorry, you cannot go inside while the staff is preparing your villa, even for a quick look! We may suggest that you spend the time getting lunch at one of the nearby bars or restaurants in Cruz Bay (The Landing and Beach Bar offer great drinks and food) or perhaps you may need to pick up a few items at the Star Fish Market or Dolphin Market. You can then return to your villa after 4 p.m. and relax. Please understand - we only have one time to make a first impression.
CHECK-OUT: Check out time is 10 a.m. Ausra Tuttle and the cleaning crew will start to arrive at 9:30 AM to prepare and meet with you for the keys and remotes and a walk-through. If you wish to stay longer than 10:00 AM, you must phone us in advance and we'll let you know if someone else is checking in your villa that afternoon or not. * A $200 penalty will be charged to all parties departing later than 10:00 AM without our prior permission.* We must give the housekeepers time to clean and prepare the villa between rentals. Please make the house tidy before you leave. This includes disposing of all trash and garbage to the nearest St. John trash dumpsters. No garbage should be left at or in the villa upon departure.
The housekeepers will strip all the beds and launder the bed sheets and towels. Please do not leave wet towels in a pile, as the warm and humid conditions will cause them to get musty and mildewed quickly. Please hang them up somewhere in the villa. If you have any food items left over, the maids would appreciate it if you leave any perishable items in the refrigerator before you leave. All dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups - all kitchen items - must be cleaned, dried and stored. One dishwasher load may be left running in the dishwasher. All a/c, fans, lights and electrical appliances must be turned off.
